Michael Huang has over 20 years of experience in investing and managing biotech and MedTech companies internationally. Michael joined Taiwania Capital in 2018 as the Managing Partner of the Life Sciences and Healthcare investments.
In this capacity, Michael is responsible for setting a balanced framework for Taiwania’s life science and healthcare investment strategies and for leading high-impact life science investment deals throughout USA, Taiwan, Japan and EU. Under his leadership, Taiwania has been able to generate meaningful returns during the market downturn. In addition to being a seasoned investor.
Michael had been an entrepreneur. Prior to joining Taiwania, Michael had served as the CEO of NeuroVive Pharmaceutical Asia, Inc., a spin-off of the Asian unit of a publicly traded Swedish biotech company, and successfully negotiated and signed licensing deals with global and Chinese pharma companies. Michael started his venture investment career at CX Venture Capital Group as an investment manager in 2003. Michael received his MBA from Rice University and his MS in chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Michael currently serves on the board of Elixiorn Immunotherapeutics, TFBS Bioscience, Point Robotics and Digimax.
