As the Manager of Life Science and Health Care Initiatives, Bryan aims to attract and support the growth of healthcare and life science companies in the Greater Philadelphia region by fostering collaboration and innovation within the region to improve public health outcomes and engage in workforce development. Bryan brings with him 10+ years of academic scientific research experience specifically focused on cancer biology. He holds a B.S. in Cell Biology from University of Kansas and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Penn State College of Medicine. After his Ph.D., Bryan spent a year at Rutgers as a Postdoc to study cell and gene therapy (CGT) and learn about the CGT ecosystem through the National NSF I-Corps program. Additionally, Bryan is the Program Director of BioStrategy Partners where he manages programs that provide support and opportunities for academic labs and industry partners in the Greater Philadelphia region.
