Masatoshi Nagamochi joined the former Daiichi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and has been involved in drug discovery research in various disease areas including cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune diseases, and cancer for over 20 years. During this time, he contributed to the discovery of the anticoagulant edoxaban. He is currently a member of the Open Innovation Group in Research Innovation Planning Department at Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd., where he is responsible for open innovation activities in APAC region.
