Speech title & Synopsis

System Seeing – Augmenting Individual Health Perspectives with a 6D Digital AI Lens Visualizing Interconnected Place, Time, Context, and People-based Relationships

Often, life sciences focus on the individual.  But in the Indigenous setting, along with individual health, there is a need to address all components of community health.  This aligns with the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) which includes the conditions in which people are born, grow, live work and age including social, economic, and environmental factors that shape their well-being.

New technologies can augment our ability to see and consider health systems in a holistic way. In addition to isolated components, we can now characterize in depth the interconnectedness between people, their lives and interactions with health systems.  This session will explore the additional capability and stories about how through generative and agentic AI, we can bring people and health systems to life and make this interplay visible in 3D holodecks.  This approach also enables the detailed exploration and analysis of health interventions in near and generational time.
