Nipun Jain is the Director of Innovation & Partnerships for the International region at AstraZeneca. He is passionate about the role of technology in improving people’s lives, and his work at AstraZeneca focusses heavily on digital health. His objective is to leverage the scale, reach and expertise of AstraZeneca, coupled with innovative technology solutions from its partners, to provide accessible, affordable and high quality healthcare to patients across the world.
Nipun heads a network of more than 15  A.Catalyst Network health innovation hubs in the International region across Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia & New Zealand He has led and supported key health tech partnerships for the company, and delivered award-winning solutions improving patient outcomes. He represents AstraZeneca’s commitment on Lung Cancer screening to World Economic Forum’s Edison Alliance. Initiatives leveraging Artificial Intelligence is a key area of interest for Nipun, where he has both academic interest as well as experience in finding real world applications in corporate environments and healthcare systems.

Digital Trends and Global Expansion Strategies

We are at a unique moment of dramatic transformation in healthcare landscape. By connecting AstraZeneca with external innovators through the A.Catalyst Network, we aim to improve patient outcomes and enhance healthcare system sustainability. The network introduces solution providers to local healthcare ecosystems, develops solutions, and generates evidence of improved patient outcomes, reduced disease management burden, and increased healthcare system capacity.

A.Catalyst Network also provides mentorship and various support to partners, collaborating with healthcare organizations, governments, medical societies, and NGOs to transform healthcare landscape for the future. It also works with investors to expand scouting sources, fostering the exchange of ideas and resources to drive healthcare innovation and transform patients' lives globally in a sustainable way.
