Jennifer Kuan currently serves as the Vice President of Taiwan Operations at Bora Biologics. Reporting directly to the company's leadership, she plays a pivotal role in driving Bora Biologics' ambition to be the industry leader in Taiwan's CDMO sector and to expand its presence in the global market. With biological drugs set to become a key growth driver for the industry, Jennifer's expertise is crucial in enhancing Bora's leadership capabilities.
Trained in biochemical engineering, Jennifer began her career at PharmaEssentia Corp., where she successfully led the PEC GMO biologics API facility project from design to construction. Following her accomplishments there, she joined JHL Biotech as a group leader of Process Development Cell Culture. She then focused on upstream manufacturing, eventually becoming the Head of Manufacturing and overseeing JHL’s facilities in Taiwan and China, both of which received TFDA certification.
Jennifer brings over a decade of management experience in the biologics sector. Notably, she has maintained a flawless record of zero contamination and failure in cGMP manufacturing campaigns, covering both pipeline products and CDMO projects. Her extensive experience includes facility and equipment commissioning, qualification, technology transfer, and 2k engineering runs, making her a valuable asset to Bora Biologics.
