Dr. Jing-Wei Lee, was graduated from the School of medicine in National Taiwan University in 1983. He received the surgical residency training in National Taiwan University Hospital from 1985 to 1990, and served as board certificated plastic surgeon in National Cheng Kung University Hospital since the year of 1991.
He acquired his clinical research fellowship in John-Hopkins University Hospital, Maryland in the year of 1995. He was promoted to associated professor in the year of 2000, and subsequently entitled to professor of surgery in the year of 2011.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to the expertise of craniofacial surgery, with the main interest focused upon facial skeletal anomaly correction as well as facial esthetics enhancement operations. He is also invited as the review editor in several renowned international Journals.
He was elected as the President of Taiwan Society of Plastic Surgery in the year of 2013-2014. He obtained the degree of executive master of business administration (EMBA) in the National Cheng Kung University in the year of 2014.
He had filed three patents related to innovation in surgical instrument design and novel way of biomaterials manufacturing, and published more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed academic journal, mostly addressing upon plastic surgery in head and neck reconstruction, complex soft tissue defect repair, and the clinical application of biocompatible material.
Dr. Lee was assigned as the deputy superintendent of NCKUH in 2019-2022, and is currently designated as the superintendent of NCKUH since 2023.
