After retiring from the Intellectual Property and Commercial Court, Sungmei joined the DTT Law Firm as a Lawyer to establish a Legal Technology and Innovation Service. Within three years, she was recognized in the Intellectual Property field and ranked highly in the Legal 500 Asia Pacific rankings. Sungmei was also selected as a recommended candidate for "Industry Elite" and "Outstanding Individuals ".

During her tenure as a judge, Sungmei dealt with civil, criminal, administrative, and thousands of patent infringement and trade secret protection cases. She has extensive knowledge of the key points of litigation. She can provide clients with professional and meticulous response strategies to achieve appropriate and efficient dispute resolution methods.

Due to her passion for Intellectual Property law and her mission to pass on her experience, Sungmei has opened courses such as "Research on European and American Intellectual Property Law" and "Comparative Study of Intellectual Property Litigation Practice across the Taiwan Strait" in universities. She is also frequently invited to provide training for directors, supervisors, and managers of listed companies. She actively promotes Intellectual Property management in various fields, assisting listed companies in obtaining TIPS in corporate governance evaluations.
