Jeffrey Dutton

Jeffrey Dutton is a career member of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service and currently serves as Commercial Officer at the American Institute in Taiwan.  Prior to his posting in Taipei, he served in the Commercial Section of the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai from 2019-2022 and at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing from 2017-2019.  During his civil service career in Washington from 1998-2016, Mr. Dutton also served in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of China and Mongolia, Office of the Pacific Basin, Office of the Western Hemisphere, and Office of Automotive Affairs.  
Mr. Dutton has a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and an M.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University in New York State.
