atDose Core is a drug delivery system based on principal of electro-osmosis. Electro-osmosis is a physical phenomenon that pushes liquid through micro-capillaries under the influence of electricity. atDose has perfected and patented the complex method to manufacture and design the core ceramic component of this drug delivery system.

Our drug delivery system can be miniaturized to the size of few centimeters and used to achieve flow rate of nano-liters/hour to micro-liters/hour with high precision. Due to lack of mechanical parts, there is no pulse-flow which can be a challenge while delivering drug to body parts such as brain or eye. We have been working with various research group to prove the use of our technology for intra-tumor anti-cancer drug delivery, with positive results. This can reduce the systemic burden of chemotherapy and improve the quality of life (QOL) of the patients while maintaining similar efficacy.

Other area of interest for our technology is Ophthalmology. Interiors of the eye are sensitive areas where caution and precision is required to deliver drugs for diseases like AMD, Uveitis etc.
