Speech title & Synopsis

Building a Smart Cloud Computing Ecosystem for Healthcare

Our healthcare system is facing critical challenges of aging population growth and Covid pandemics. Under the constraint of medical resource, it would be very difficult to host all patients with proper medical care in the hospitals. The supply chain issues of medical resource caused by COVID pandemics make the situation even more critical. In order to address these problems and to provide more precision and personalized healthcare at the point of care, anytime, anywhere for anyone, we will need digital transformation of our medical and healthcare system through the advanced ICT technology. We envision that, for future healthcare, there will be more medical Internet of things (MIoT) and wearables to continuously collect the vital signs data of people, upload and store in the Could data center with security, trained with machine learning (ML) or deep learning (DL), and provide realtime health motoring and medicine decision supporting through AI inferencing over high performance cloud computing. At the center of this new smart healthcare ecosystem, an innovative new Cloud of hyper connectivity and super computing needs to be built to create the medical value out of the real world data through AI.
