Wallace Lin

Wallace has close to 30 years of experience of management, regulatory, and government policy of science and technology and currently serving as acting secretary general of Taiwan BIO.

He is the founder and CEO of SynNovate, a technology-based firm established in Taiwan and with presence in Asia.

He has been the Chief Administrative Officer of BioMed Taiwan after served in the Board of Science and Technology Executive Yuan of Taiwan of Taiwan as the Director of the Biotechnology, Health, Medicine and Agriculture. He has been one of the full-time Science and Technology Advisors of Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Wallace was the Acting Deputy Executive Director of Center for Drug Evaluation, the regulatory agency for the review of Pharmaceuticals, Medical Device, Health Food, Health Technology Assessment in Taiwan.  Wallace was Director of Specialty Polymers Lab in Union Chemical Laboratories, ITRI and an Adjunct Associated Professor of Biotechnology in National Chaio-Tung University and an Adjunct Associated Professor of Chemistry in Chung-Yuan Christian University.

Wallace received Ph. D. degree from Carnegie Mellon University, M.S. from University of Pittsburgh, and B.S. from National Taiwan University.
