Speech title & Synopsis
SARS-CoV-2 infection is an emerging infectious disease noted since Dec. 2019. Till now, it has caused a pandemic resulting in more than eleven million infections and 530 thousand deaths. Many clinicians and researchers have offered much effort to find out the effective treatment modality. Till now, several agents have been proposed as potential drugs against SARS-CoV-2 infection, which include hydroxychloroquine, remdesivir, IL-1 antagonist, and IL-6 antagonist. Brief discussion focus on current evidence for the treatment options of SARS-CoV-2 will be provided in this talk.
