Dr. Margaret Dah-Tsyr Chang has established professional career in NTHU with special focus on protein engineering and glycoscience research for more than 30 years, leading to publication of > 120 SCI papers and invention patents.
About 70% of Dr. Margaret Dah-Tsyr Chang’s graduate students, some 25 and 150 in respectively PhD and MS programs, have been inspired by her passion and encouragement to devote career development in biotech industry. She has strengthened industry-academic collaboration mechanisms at NTHU, coordinated biomedical innovative entrepreneur cultivation project sponsored by MOE and reviewed technology development projects sponsored by Industrial Development Bureau of MOEA. She served as a co-PI for value creation project sponsored by MOST (2017-2019) and raised fund to spin off JelloX Biotech Inc. Now she plays a major role in networking resources from industry-government-academic-medical-related public affairs, international and domestic key opinion leaders, innovation incubation and interdisciplinary collaboration ecosystem, as well as strategic plans for creative company and production promotion.
