About BIO ASIA–Taiwan

Jointly organized by both the global Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (Taiwan BIO) the BIO Asia–Taiwan International Conference and Exhibition was held for the first time in 2019. The gathering was a roaring success and exceeded all expectations, with more than 1,500 from 25 countries representing biomedical, pharmaceutical, genomics, biotech services, equipment and instruments, academic research, cosmetology products and bio-based healthcare attending the five-day festival of events.

With such success and as an endorsement of Taiwan's standing as a leading Asian biomedical industry hub, BIO and Taiwan BIO are pleased to announce that the event will be held again next year — BIO Asia–Taiwan 2020.

A premier, must-attend conference for entire Asia-Pacific region!

The BIO Asia–Taiwan 2020 Conference and Exhibition, July 22-26 in Taipei, Taiwan will bring together biotechnology and pharmaceutical executives and investors from North America, Europe and Asia to meet and explore business opportunities with Taiwan’s emerging biotech sector.

One of the largest gatherings of its kind in Asia, the BIO Asia–Taiwan Conference and Exhibition is expected to attract more than 2,000 attendees from 30+ countries representing the full spectrum of biomedical disciplines and industries.

The five-day event will feature rich programming, company presentations from Asia and around the world, BIO One-on-One Partnering™ meetings, seminars and workshops, and an exhibition featuring more than 1,700 booths from 600+ companies.

BIO Asia–Taiwan 2020 Conference and Exhibition will again feature the renowned BIO One-on-One Partnering™ platform, an easy-to-use online meeting scheduling system to search for and identify potential partners, collaborators, investors and in- and out-licensing opportunities. Face-to-face meetings are then held in specially-allocated meeting booths during the three days of the conference (Wed–Fri) itself. With over 2,000 meetings made via the system during BIO Asia–Taiwan 2019, we expect over 3,500 meetings to be successfully scheduled during the 2020 event. Registration will open March 1, 2020 and the BIO One-on-One Partnering system will open in June. For more information visit www.bioasiataiwan.com.

As in the 2019 event, BIO Asia–Taiwan 2020 will again showcase Taiwan's growing digital advantage in this sector and spotlight biotech, pharmaceutical, medical devices, precision medicine advances, as well as AI applications, ICT and IoT technologies, and new healthcare/medical investment opportunities.
